A rich collection that begins with the delivery of the flag between Tokyo and Paris to mark the countdown to 2024.
This collectible coin symbolizes the handover of the relay between Japan and France, two host nations of the Olympic Games.
On the obverse, the relay flag is passed between a Japanese sportswoman and a French sportswoman (who can be identified by her nail art). In the background, the Tokyo Tower seems to respond to its Parisian counterpart, the Eiffel Tower.
On the reverse, the Japanese and French flags are side by side and the central circle of the Japanese flag moves to the right to become rings, a reference to the Olympic rings. The PARIS2024 emblem completes this composition.
