On the back is a color image of the Moon and on it, the Columbia Command Module attached to the Lunar Eagle Module that perches on the surface of the satellite. On the left appears one of the antennas that from Spain lent support to this historic mission.

The obverse shows the footprint left by the boot of Neil Armstrong, commander of the Apollo XI expedition, on the fine dust of the lunar surface, surrounded by the legends "MERCURY", "GEMINI" and "APOLLO". These inscriptions are separated by the phases of the Moon, in reference to the technological and human effort deployed by the United States of America with NASA's space programs, which culminated in the landing of the Eagle.
On the back is a close-up of the famous photograph of "Buzz Aldrin on the Moon" taken on July 20, 1969, in which you can see, in the vision of Buzz Aldrin's helmet, the lunar module Eagle, the flag from the USA and the elongated shadow of Aldrin and the figure of Armstrong.
